'Masked Singer' Season 9 premiere reveals first 2 celebrities; Know details here
On Wednesday night, "The Masked Singer's" ninth season premiered with one of its biggest and oldest stars ever.

The program hinted that one of this week's unmaskings was legendary before the episode debuted on Wednesday. That turned out to be accurate when it was discovered that Dick Van Dyke, who played Gnome in Mary Poppins, was 97 years old. He sang Billie Holiday's "When You're Smiling."
The panel's guesses included Tony Bennett, Dustin Hoffman, and Robert De Niro. None of them, however, accurately foresaw that Van Dyke was hiding behind the mask. Ken Jeong called it the "greatest reveal ever" as he stepped on the desk and revealed who he was. Nicole Scherzinger sobbed in response to the unveiling.
The "Ding Dong Keep It On" Bell, a brand-new idea for the competition this season, enables the panel to rescue three candidates. Later, those competitors will compete to reenter the competition. But since the judges decided not to ring the bell today, two contenders were eliminated.
Mustang and Medusa both had excellent performances in Wednesday's program. When Mustang covered the Whitesnake song "Here I Go Again," the judges speculated that she might have been anybody from Pink to Suzanne Somers.
She was unable to surpass Medusa, who sang "Happier Than Ever" by Billie Eilish before talking about how she had never fit in. In the Battle Royale, Medusa and Mustang duelled while belting out Rihanna's "Diamonds."
In the end, Medusa was able to secure a seat in next week's ABBA Night, but Mustang had to be revealed. Nobody on the panel properly identified Sara Evans as the disguised country singer. She said that neither of her three children knew she was a cast member and that she intended to watch the program with them.
