According to Rolling Out website, the streaming debut follows the film’s strong theatrical run, during which it grossed over $521 million worldwide, marking Marvel’s biggest opening of the year and one of 2025’s top-performing superhero releases. Critics lauded the on-screen chemistry among the four leads and the film’s seamless balance of high-concept sci-fi action and heartfelt humor.
The film, directed by Matt Shakman and starring Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm), pits the team against a planet-devouring Galactus and his Herald, the Silver Surfer, in a story that Marvel says is as much about family as it is about cosmic stakes.
Marvel announced the news across its official social media platforms, unveiling a new promotional poster and teaser clip alongside the release date. Disney+ subscribers can begin streaming the film at 3 am Eastern Time, when it joins the platform’s growing catalog of Marvel Cinematic Universe titles. Viewers in the United Kingdom and Europe will be able to watch one day later, on November 6.
The post-credits scene features a surprise appearance by Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, marking his unexpected return to the Marvel universe and establishing a direct link to the next phase of the Multiverse.
