Marvel Rivals Season 0 marks the launch of the game, offering exciting features like new heroes, maps and a customized Battle Pass.

Start Date and Duration

Season 0 of Marvel Rivals begins with the game’s release on December 6. This pre-season runs until early January 2025. Unlike regular three-month seasons, this season is shorter. Season 1 starts immediately after, followed by three-month seasons moving forward. Players can expect Season 2 to launch in April 2025.

Marvel Rivals will feature 33 heroes by the end of Season 0. Currently, 28 heroes are confirmed at launch. Five additional heroes will be added progressively during this pre-season period.

New Maps

Season 0 brings a variety of maps. The Beta phase showcased four maps, and by the end of Season 0, players will have access to eight Quick Match and Competitive maps. A Team Deathmatch-inspired mode, Conquest, will include one large-scale map. Additionally, a Practice Range will be introduced, allowing players to test hero abilities without joining live matches.

Battle Pass

The Season 0 Battle Pass will launch alongside the pre-season. It includes costumes and cosmetic items for heroes. This Battle Pass contains half the content of a regular season due to the shorter duration. As a result, it will be priced lower than standard Battle Passes in future seasons.
