Mark Sheppard health update: 'Supernatural' actor suffers six heart attacks, 100 per cent blockage in LAD
"Supernatural" actor Mark Sheppard has suffered cardiac arrest and had severe blockage in left anterior descending artery (LAD). The actor has revealed details on Instagram.

Expressing gratitude, "Supernatural" actor thanked his wife, Sarah Louise Fudge, as well as the Los Angeles Fire Department and Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in California for their support.
"Six massive heart attacks later, and being brought back from dead 4 times I apparently had a 100% blockage in my LAD," Sheppard posted on Instagram page.
The left anterior descending artery (LAD) is the largest coronary artery, as stated by the Cleveland Clinic. A blockage in the LAD can lead to a fatal type of heart attack referred to as "the widowmaker."
Mark Sheppard, known for his role as Crowley in 67 episodes of "Supernatural" from Seasons 5 to 12, has also appeared in various episodes of "Battlestar Galactica" as Romo Lampkin, "Leverage" as Jim Sterling, "Doom Patrol" as Willoughby Kipling, "Warehouse 13" as Benedict Valda, and most recently as Hagan on Season 1 of "Walker: Independence."
