Halloween may have just concluded but for Mariah Carey, the holiday season officially commenced with Christmas around the corner. The renowned singer and songwriter, Mariah Carey, marked the onset of the most wonderful time of the year by taking to her Instagram at the stroke of midnight on November 1.

Continuing her annual tradition on November 1, the 54-year-old singer initiated the Christmas countdown with the exclamation, 'It's... TIME!!!' In a video shared on her Instagram, Carey playfully depicted herself in the process of getting ready for the festive season, humorously alluding to being 'defrosted.'

In Mariah Carey's festive video, she can be seen opening a vault as the date and time transition from 'October 31 at 11:59' to 'November 1 at 12:00.' Once the vault's doors swing open, Mariah is revealed, encased in a block of ice, wearing a Mrs Claus-style jumpsuit. She exclaims in a happy, high-pitched voice, "It's time!" as four people in Halloween costumes, two individuals with masks and the other two wearing pumpkin head use hair dryers in order to melt the ice.


Subsequently, the background begins to play Mariah's all-time favorite Christmas classic, 'All I Want for Christmas Is You,' as the singer joyfully celebrates the snow falling. Joining her in the festive celebration are her 12-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, who are also dressed for the season with twinkling lights adorning their necks.
