Maria Menounos and Keven Undergaro are delaying their travel plans due to a happy reason, as they are expecting a baby! The 44-year-old TV host announced the news on the "Live with Kelly and Ryan" show after Kelly Ripa enquired about their summer plans.

Menounos stated that they had many plans including a trip to Greece in the summer, but due to a surprise pregnancy, they had to move up the trip. She felt the need to share the news with her 'family' (referring to her audience) first, as they have been part of her journey and she is grateful to them.

Menounos and Undergaro have been transparent about their efforts to start a family, which have spanned a decade. They have tried various methods, including medical procedures and even hanging Menounos upside down, all to no avail. The couple will be welcoming their baby through surrogacy.

Menounos expressed her gratitude towards surrogates, as they have made it possible for the couple to have a baby. She shared the news on Instagram, mentioning that her late mother had a conversation with God and it was time for the couple to have a baby.

Menounos' mother passed away from stage 4 brain cancer in May 2021. In her announcement on Instagram, she expressed sadness about not being able to share the news with her mother in person but believes that her mother, from the other side, played a role in making this happen.
