Maren Morris might skip CMA Awards, says not comfortable with Brittany Aldean
Maren Morris may miss this year's CMA Awards following her feud with fellow country singer Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany. Maren and Jason have been nominated in separate categories at the CMA Awards 2022, scheduled on November 10 in Nashville.

Per media reports, Maren was not comfortable being in the same room with Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany, after they had an ugly dispute over Brittany's controversial comments. During a conversation with the Los Angeles Times, the Bones singer claimed that she was not feeling at home, though she was proud of her label getting nominated. Maren's recent album "Humble Quest" has been nominated in the Album of the Year category for the CMA Awards 2022.
On the other hand, Maren's fellow country singer, Jason Aldean, has also been nominated for his duet with Carrie Underwood, If I Didn't Love You. Maren said that she always felt uncomfortable attending such events and was peaceful this time since she decided not to attend.
The feud between Brittany and Maren sparked after the former posted an Instagram clip thanking her parents for not letting her change her gender during her tomboy phase. Commenting on the post, Jason had said that he, too, was thankful that it didn't happen. Otherwise, things wouldn't have worked out between the couple. Many fans condemned Brittany's post, categorizing it as transphobic.
