Maple Leafs Actor Mitch Marner's Range Rover stolen at gunpoint in Toronto
Mitch Marner, a renowned Toronto Maple Leafs winger had his Range Rover stolen by an armed carjacker on Monday late at night. A manhunt is underway for three suspects, armed with two handguns and a knife, who fled in the stolen car.

A Range Rover which is owned and driven by Martin Manner was stopped by thieves in the area of Islington Avenue and Queensway. The incident happened at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. According to the police, three suspects out of whom one was armed with a knife and two were armed with guns, approached Mitch in the vicinity of Cineplex Cinemas Queensway. The thieves then ran away in his car. Martin was unharmed during this entire encounter.
He was later brought to 22 Division a few hours after the incident took place to give statements to investigators.
Despite being shaken, Marner did not sustain any injuries. The Queensway and Islington Avenue were the site of a police call around 7:46 p.m. about a man being robbed of his car.
In the same area two days earlier, two male suspects attempted to carjack a woman but were unsuccessful. There were no arrests made even though the police chased the suspects on foot.
It is still unknown if the two incidents are inter-connected. The NHL playoffs ended on Saturday night for Mitch Marner and his teammates with a heartbreaking 2-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 7.
Two handguns and a knife are among the weapons used by the three suspects in the theft of the vehicle.
