Manchester United takeover update: PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi denies any link
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has revealed that he is not involved in the reported takeover of Manchester United.

However, Al-Khelaifi has dismissed these claims, emphasizing that his sole focus is on Paris St-Germain. Speaking in Istanbul after a meeting of the European Clubs' Association, he stated that he finds the rumors amusing and reiterated his allegiance to his club.
Al-Khelaifi clarified that if people seek his opinion on various matters, including Manchester United, he is willing to share his experiences. He emphasized that his involvement is not limited to a single club and that he is open to offering advice to anyone who seeks it.
Sheikh Jassim, who has made multiple bids for Manchester United, insists that his offers are made on a personal basis. Meanwhile, another bidder, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his Ineos Group, is willing to secure a majority stake, allowing the Glazer family to maintain some level of representation within the club.
Al-Khelaifi, who is also the chairman of beIN Sport and the boss of Qatari Sports Investments, has previously expressed his willingness to provide advice on potential investments in English clubs. He stated that he had discussions with a group interested in investing in two English clubs, without disclosing their identities.
The PSG president, who denies any involvement with the Raine Group, the entity overseeing the United sale process, welcomes new investments in European football as long as they comply with regulations. He believes that such investments can contribute to the development and success of European competitions, not only from Qatar but from all sources.
