Manchester United is going Hollywood way as new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is planning to make BAFTA winning actor Barry Keoghan as the pivotal figure for the commercial campaign in the 2024-25 season, as per report in The Mirror.

"The Banshees of Inisherin", "Top Boy" and 'Saltburn' actor Barry Keoghan is likely to be the central figure in Manchester United's promotional campaign which will commence in July, as per The Daily Mail.

Manchester United is keen to keep its vast base of global audience in tact as the changes in ownership and management are taking place.

Earlier in June, Erik ten Hag said that he was aware that Manchester United had spoken to other managers before the Premier League club decided to stick with the Dutchman after a difficult season.

Ten Hag said he was on holiday in Ibiza when members of the United hierarchy arrived to inform him they wanted him to remain as United manager.

Former Chelsea and Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel and England manager Gareth Southgate were among those linked with the position after United finished eighth in the Premier League last season.
