Man brutally stabbed in head and robbed by three attackers in New York; Assailants on the run as police launch massive manhunt

A 45-year-old man was brutally stabbed in the head and robbed by three attackers in New York that left him critically injured last week, prompting a massive police manhunt. According to the New York Post, police said the victim got into a heated argument with the group around 1 AM on October 27 along Van Siclen Avenue near Belmont Avenue in East New York. During the altercation, the ruthless attackers repeatedly stabbed the man in the head and across his body before stealing his jacket, backpack, watch, and cellphone.


Authorities described the assault as particularly violent and said the suspects fled the scene immediately after the attack, leaving the victim severely injured. Emergency responders quickly transported the gravely injured victim to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he remains in critical but stable condition, according to New York Police Department (NYPD).


Surveillance footage released by the NYPD on Monday night shows the suspects - still on the run - riding an A train shortly after the attack. One of the men can be seen grinning as he enters the subway car, while another is wearing a jacket emblazoned with the words 'Only the Strong', New York Post reported.

Investigators are urging anyone who recognizes the individuals in the video to come forward as the search for the attackers intensifies.
