Christmas is around the corner, and the festivities are already in the air. In order to make the occasion more special, a family-favorite movie is set to air in a prime time slot on Xmas Day 2023.

The television lineup for December 25 has been revealed in advance of the festive occasion, and BBC One intends to broadcast Toy Story 4 immediately following the airing of the King's Speech.

As per the reports, the Pixar movie will go on air on December 25, 2023, on BBC One.


With this, it will be the first time that the fourth installment of the smash-hit franchise will have aired on free-to-air TV.

According to reports, Toy Story has always been loved by people across the globe. The movie is a favorite as a Christmas premiere.
It's a proven and reliable formula that brings joy to families, as everyone gathers on the couch after Christmas dinner.

It is also being said that the channel will premiere the first three Toy Story movies in the days preceding Christmas Day.

Apart from Toy Story, BBC One will also premiere other family-favorite movies during the festive week. The movies include Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway and The Addams Family 2.

Also, the channel will air Jennifer Lopez's romcom Marry Me. Further, another film 'The Witches,' which is a 2020 screen adaptation of Roald Dahl's classic, will also be on the BBC One schedule.

Meanwhile, on BBC Two, Lady Gaga's House of Gucci, Kenneth Branagh's Oscar-winning film Belfast, and the biopic Respect on Aretha Franklin will all premiere for free during the Christmas season.

Apart from the movies, fans of Strictly Come Dancing are also looking forward to the traditional festive special.

Also, some of the renowned personalities, including BBC Breakfast's Sally Nugent, historian Dan Snow, and EastEnders' Jamie Borthwick, will be among those who will be gracing the stage with their performances.

The Strictly ballroom will be transformed into a winter wonderland in a magical blend of dance, glitter, and cheer as six brand-new celebrities will battle to be crowned Christmas champion.

Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke, and Shirley Ballas will be among the four judges from this season who will be sitting on the judging panel.
