The next edition of the Magic Mike series, “Magic Mike’s Last Dance”, was launched on Tuesday. The Channing Tatum starrer is a sequel to Magic Mike XXL (2015) and will be the third instalment in the series.

As mentioned in the trailer, “Magic Mike’s Last Dance” will hit the theatres on February 10, 2023. The Steven Soderbergh directorial will be released on HBO Max for a VOD at a later date.

Like the first two editions, Channing Tatum plays the lead character, Magic Mike. Some of the new faces in the franchise include Salma Hayek, Caitlin Gerard, Nancy Carroll, and Ayub Khan Din. The film is directed by Steven Soderbergh, who also helmed the original movie Magic Mike (2012).

From what we can gather from the trailer, Magic Mike puts on a private show for Maxandra Mendoza (Salma Hayek), even after the Kings of Tampa end their careers as male strippers. Therefore, it is likely that the sequel will take over where Magic Mike XXL left. Mike’s working at a bar in Miami. However, he meets the Mexican diva and moves to London to create a new show.
