Madden NFL ratings are out. Check hotly debated WR rating

The latest Madden NFL ratings and rankings are out. The ranking and rating provide the assessment of top players for the 2022 season and 99 club at every position.

What is Madden?
The most famous American football game provides a realistic gaming experience. Electronic Arts (EA) is the house of Madden NFL, an ultra-popular NFL video game. The game was first released in June 1988, and since then, it has been the pinnacle of digital football gaming. Last year's edition, Madden NFL 22, was released on August 20.
The release date for Madden NFL 23 is set for August 19, 2022. The top players for the 2022 season were rated by Madden before the game's release, along with a 99-club for each field position. With 99 points, Davante Adams of the Raiders is the best wide receiver. But as usual, debate about some players' point totals is heated.


Here are the three WRs:

Deebo Samuel — Madden WR Rating: 89
Deebo Samuel of the 49ers had a solid 2021 season, leading the NFL charts for yards per reception. He ranked fifth in receiving yards and made loads of rushing contributions. Therefore, his Madden NFL WR rating of 89, though prominent, looks underwhelming compared to the twelve others above him.

Tee Higgins—Madden WR Rating: 83
Tee Higgins was among the top performing wide receivers during the 2021 season, scoring 12 touchdowns, and is just short of receiving 2000 yards in the last two seasons combined. Tee was also one of the few to cross 1000 receiving yards in the 2021 season. Despite achieving tremendous feats, Tee was ranked below 30 WRs, with a shockingly low rating of 83.

Ja'Marr Chase —Madden WR Rating: 87
Ja'Marr Chase had a dream run throughout the 2021 season, emerging as one of the year's best and most dominant rookies. He achieved top positions in touchdowns, yards per reception, and receiving yards. While it was Ja'Marr's first season, his performance was noteworthy enough to slate him among the best-performing WRs of the 2021 season. Hence, the 87 rating Madden gave him this year seems to be unfair.
