Inter Miami (12-5-6, 42 points) dropped to sixth after its second loss in four league matches. Orlando also stayed unbeaten at home against Miami, improving to 8-0 in all-time meetings.
Miami was without Lionel Messi for the second straight match due to a mild hamstring injury. Goalkeeper Oscar Ustari returned from a five-game absence but faced constant pressure, making eight saves as Orlando outshot Miami 22-10, including 12-5 on target.
Muriel opened the scoring in the second minute, slotting home a through ball from Ojeda. Miami equalized three minutes later when Yannick Bright netted his first MLS goal off a failed clearance.
Orlando dominated the second half. In the 50th minute, Ojeda played a short corner to Muriel, who dribbled past Jordi Alba and fired past Ustari for his second goal.
Eight minutes later, Muriel returned the favor, sending a long ball to Ojeda, who cut inside and scored inside the near post. Marco Pasalic capped the rout in the 88th minute.
Goalkeeper Pedro Gallese provided a tense moment after a leaping save left him off-balance. Luis Suárez attempted a midfield lob over the stranded 'keeper, but Gallese recovered to thump it away before landing awkwardly on his left leg. After medical attention, he stayed in the game, preserving Orlando’s emphatic derby win.
