The ongoing eighth season of reality TV series Love Is Blind premiered on Netflix on the occasion of Valentine's Day (February 14) earlier this year.

So far, the show has witnessed couples going through multiple ups and downs, with some getting engaged even without seeing each other in the pods as well as a romantic retreat in Honduras.

According to the OTT giant, the contestants are now inching closer to the final episode and moments away from being tied in holy matrimony, USA Today reported.

Love Is Blind season 8: What to know?

In the beginning, a total of 32 singles from the US state of Minnesota marked their entry into the reality dating show's maiden Midwest pod squad.

Out of them, four couples got engaged. Two others, who liked each other at first, later decided to part ways. There was one couple that got formed after the two participants got eliminated from the show.

Reunion episode

The 'pod squad' is all set to get back together on camera in the reunion episode, which will take place on March 9 at 9 PM ET. This will mark the first time the candidates will be seen together since the season stopped filming.

This means that the reunion episode takes place only two days after the 13th episode of the show aired on Friday.

On the upcoming reunion, the OTT platform said there's nothing "quite like the 'a-ha' moments a Love Is Blind reunion provides".

During the reunion, hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey will be marking the five-year anniversary of the series, besides announcing the "most memorable" moments of all time.

The current season of the show features singles from the Minneapolis area and allows them to "cut through the static of modern dating".

Before this, the seventh season was based in Washington DC, while the one before that was set in North Carolina's Charlotte.
