Loki actor Jonathan Majors to face trial on Nov 26 in domestic violence case

Marvel actor Jonathan Majors will face trial on November 29 after his request to dismiss domestic violence charges against him was denied.

A spokesperson for District Attorney Alvin Bragg stated, "We look forward to presenting our case at trial."

On the allegations against Majors, the actor has been denying the charges since the start.


The allegations came into view after a 911 call was received by the officials regarding a domestic violence dispute at an apartment in New York City's Chelsea neighborhood.

Grace Jabbari who made the call has claimed that Majors caused injuries to her face with an open hand leading to pain and a laceration behind her ear.

The actor was then charged with two counts of misdemeanor assault.

However, Grace Jabbari previously has been arrested on multiple charges. But the Manhattan District Attorney's office has decided to not prosecute her. The matter has been closed for now.

Jonathan Majors is popularly known for his roles in the Ant-Man films and web series "Loki."

As a star in the Marvel Universe, he was expected to act in the upcoming Marvel productions, "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" and "Avengers: Secret Wars," portraying the character Kang the Conqueror.

Majors has been awarded with an Emmy nomination for his role in "Lovecraft Country."
