Lizzo to perform at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee in May 2023. See when, where to buy tickets

Apparently, Christmas has arrived early for Milwaukee's live entertainment fans. AJR, P!nk, and Trevor Noah have already announced Brew City shows, and Fiserv Forum also revealed pop icon Lizzo will make her Milwaukee return on Tuesday, May 16 as part of "The Special."

The May gig will be the singer's first in Milwaukee since performing on the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse stage at Summerfest 2019. Lizzo has only gotten more famous since that buzzy Big Gig performance, winning three Grammys in 2020, an Emmy for her dancing competition show "Watch Out for the Big Grrrls" on Amazon Prime Video, hosting and being a musical guest on "SNL," and playing a supporting role in the critically acclaimed, almost Oscar-nominated dramedy "Hustlers."

Lizzo, who was formerly based in Minneapolis, has performed in Milwaukee several times as an emerging indie artist, including a Turner Hall Ballroom event, a Summerfest day session, and an opening engagement for Sleater-Kinney at the Riverside Theater in 2015.



Tickets for the Fiserv Forum tour will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 18, on Lizzo's website. There will, however, be a presale for American Express card members from 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, until 10 p.m. on Thursday, November 17.
