Liverpool icon James Lee Duncan Carragher's comments on Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga backfired after the latter's stunning performance as Graham Potter’s side defeated Aston Villa 2-0.

Jamie Carragher talked about Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga's individual performance against Aston Villa on Sunday.

Mason Mount, who capitalised on a poor mistake from opposition defender Tyrone Mings, put Chelsea in front within six minutes with his first goal of the season.

Ex-Manchester City defender Micah Richards was on the panel with Carragher, and claimed that Kepa has done 'nothing wrong' since being put into the team by Potter. Richards said 'When he [Kepa] came in, he came for a lot of money, we knew what he could do.'
