American rapper Lil Wayne is going through a tough time in his life. He has revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone that he can't remember his songs due to memory loss.

The 40-year-old hip-hop artist revealed to Rolling Stone that he can't differentiate between some of his most famous albums, like Tha Carter, Tha Carter II, Tha Carter III, and Tha Carter IV.


Lil Wayne said that things are so bad that he cannot converse with anyone about a specific song anymore.

The Lollipop singer is still active on the music scene but has this partial memory loss. He can’t remember when his albums were released, so these projects hold little importance to him right now.

Lil Wayne observed that his busy and stressful work schedule may be a reason for his memory troubles. He is, however, still aware of his talent and is thankful for his creativity.

Lil Wayne’s battle with epilepsy

In the interview, Lil Wayne also mentioned his battle with epilepsy over the years. The singer had to cancel a show in Las Vegas in 2017 when he had multiple seizures and was found unconscious in his hotel room in Chicago. Earlier in 2013, he had had many seizures and was hospitalized.

People believed that Lil Wayne’s addiction to sizzurp, a recreational drink mixed with cough syrup and other stuff, may have been the reason for his epilepsy.
