Setting and Plot

The series, like the game known as ‘Yakuza’ and ‘Like a Dragon,’ is set in Kamurochō. This fictional entertainment district is modeled after Tokyo’s Kabukichō in Shinjuku. The story follows gangsters and residents of Kamurochō across two periods, 1995 and 2005. It focuses on a Yakuza warrior with a strong sense of justice and duty.

Characters and Cast

Kaku Kento, known for roles in ‘House of Ninjas’ and ‘Tokyo MER,’ portrays Akira Nishikiyama, also known as Nishiki. His character is closely linked to Takeuchi Ryoma’s character. Takeuchi has starred in multiple ‘Kamen Rider’ titles.
