LFG: WWE’s new competition show’s premiere date, time, where to watch, competition format and mentors

WWE has announced the official premiere date for its new competition series, LFG (Legends & Future Greats). The show will debut on February 16 at 8 p.m. ET on A&E. It is part of WWE’s expanded content on the network. The program will feature 16 contestants competing for a place in NXT.

Premiere Date, Time and Where to Watch

WWE LFG will launch on February 16 at 8 p.m. ET on A&E. Two additional WWE programs will follow the premiere:

“WWE’s Greatest Moments” at 9:30 p.m.
“WWE Rivals” at 10:30 p.m.


The two additional shows were announced in December as part of WWE’s extended programming on A&E.

Competition Format and Mentors

The competition will feature 16 contestants. They will compete to earn a place in NXT, WWE’s developmental brand. The show will have WWE legends as mentors, including:

Booker T
Mickie James
Bubba Ray Dudley

Two WWE Hall of Famers, Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque and Shawn Michaels, will guide the competitors. They will also help them earn points based on their performances.

WWE’s Greatest Moments Show

WWE’s Greatest Moments will air at 9:30 p.m. The show will feature legendary WWE announcer Michael Cole as the host. Each episode will be 30 minutes long. WWE Superstars and Legends, such as:

Kevin Owens

They will discuss the most remarkable moments in wrestling history and share their perspectives.
