This year, the seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton managed to secure only one podium spot after finishing in the 8th place in France. But, despite not getting his previous form and consistency, he is not ready to retire either after or during this season. Due to a series of lowdowns, after seven races, he bagged only 6th place and only 50 points. On the other hand, George Russell, his teammate, has bagged the fourth position.

According to Martin Brundle, Lewis Hamilton was uncomfortable during the race this season, and he was ready to exit the race after the Spanish Grand Prix. However, the British driver said that he started to lose control and mind after struggling a lot at the Monaco Grand Prix. But all these do not imply that he is ready to retire. When he was asked the same question, he simply replied there was no reason to stop racing. Though he might not win the title, he is very happy to compete with others and drive the car. It gives him immense joy, just like the first day of racing. The day of retirement will surely come when he will not be able to drive and be happy, but that time is not here yet, said Lewis Hamilton.

Toto Wolff, the boss of the Mercedes team, has already asked this super and experienced racer to come back stronger than even after they fix the entire car handling problems. At the same time, Lewis Hamilton and his team are getting ready to participate in the British Grand Prix that will happen in July.

That is why he is working daily to prepare himself better and give a tough fight at Silverstone. In the factory, everyone is working very hard to make the car better and more advanced than ever.
