Just three shows into her tour, Hill shared the news with her fans through her social media on Sunday night, revealing that her show scheduled for Monday night at the Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia would be rescheduled.

In her message, Hill expressed her disappointment and explained the situation, saying, "On the advice of my physicians, I have no choice but to postpone the show tomorrow." She cited the need to rest her voice to prevent further strain or damage to her vocal cords. She also acknowledged the incredible start of her tour and the joy of celebrating the album's anniversary with her fans and family. She assured her fans that she looked forward to providing them with a fully recovered and healthy performance.

Hill assured her fans that the postponed show had been rescheduled for November 25, promising it would be a special one. She also mentioned that her upcoming show in Toronto at the Scotiabank Arena on October 26 would proceed as planned. She concluded her message by expressing her eagerness to rest for a few days before continuing the tour.


Her North American tour began on October 17 at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., followed by shows at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on October 19 and the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. on October 21.

During her Brooklyn performance, Hill expressed her gratitude to the audience for their patience and grace and hinted at the strain on her voice, saying she was "’bout to sing my voice out."
