Last-minute iPhone 17 Pro leak claims smaller dynamic island is official — details

Apple is preparing to release the iPhone 17 series on September 9, 2025, in its annual “Awe Dropping” event. According to an X tipster (via MacRumors), the Dynamic Island on the Pro and Pro Max phones might be smaller. “This particular source doesn't have any track record to speak of, but there are multiple images to support the claims,” the report cited.

Besides the tip being shown up by a major Apple speculation site, it sets in with previous rumors from different sources that the Dynamic Island would be smaller on some iPhone 17 models, or at least can see changes in its size and shape.
