Disappointment spread among the fans when organisers announced cancellation of the event, as many people came from abroad to attend 'When we were young' music festival in Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas event organisers declared on Saturday , October 22, that they would not be going ahead with the show owing to a weather warning.

The message added that the National Weather Service has now increased their Saturday forecast to a 'high wind warning', with severe sustained winds of 30 to 40 mph with possible gusts of 60 mph.

The statement further read that the "When We Were Young" Festival must be cancelled today; the organisers have no other option.

There was also an admission that this was not an easy choice to make. The primary concern would always be ensuring the safety of the audience, artists, and employees.

The organisers were aware that many of the fans had travelled to the region in anticipation of spending an unforgettable day with their favourite bands. While the organizers were thrilled to conduct the show, they were equally heartbroken to have to break the news of the show's cancellation.
