In the seven weekends since he returned to the White House, President Donald Trump has played golf, and on Saturday, he was at the Trump International West Palm Beach, as quoted in a report by The Independent.


White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt was interviewed by his daughter-in-law, who is currently a Fox News host, about her lack of vacation time.

Karoline Leavitt said that she hasn't taken a day off in probably a year since they've been on the campaign trail.

Co-host Charlie Hurt interrupted, "You took a day off to give birth, and then you were back at it the next day."

"Everyone takes notes from President Trump, and as you and I both know, he doesn't take any days off, so nobody takes any days off," Lara Trump asserted.

The remark coincides with reports that the president has played golf 13 out of the 48 days since he returned to the White House.

The trips to Florida have been getting more and more expensive. This is his tenth visit to the club next to Palm Beach International Airport since his inauguration on January 20, according to a HuffPost analysis.

He has also played three rounds of golf at Trump Doral, which is located east of Miami International Airport.

Since the two assassination attempts on Trump during the 2024 campaign—the first at a rally in Pennsylvania and the second when a suspected shooter was discovered hiding outside the same West Palm Beach golf club—security has been significantly increased.

While the military uses expensive C-17 planes to transport Donald Trump's motorcade vehicles, he and his entourage fly down on Air Force One.

On the ground, a Coast Guard ship is still positioned off the beach in the Atlantic, and police boats with machine guns on the bows patrol the water since getting from Mar-a-Lago to the golf club requires returning to the mainland from the barrier island, as quoted in a report.

Explosive-sniffing dogs and local law enforcement are yet another extra costs.
