Storyline

Landman is inspired by the podcast Boomtown. It depicts the Norris family’s efforts in the challenging oil-rigging industry of Texas.

The official synopsis describes it as a modern tale set in West Texas's boomtowns, focusing on oil rigs and their social, economic and geopolitical impact. The series portrays the lives of workers and billionaires linked to the industry. All episodes are written by Taylor Sheridan.
