Lana Del Rey releases lead single of her ninth album
Lana Del Rey announced her ninth album, "Did You Know That There's A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd," and released the title track that would be officially released on March 10, 2023.

She had a backpack with her laptop and a camcorder, and a thief broke all the windows and stole it. The laptop contained all her songs and her recordings. She lost all her songs and had to tell her fans not to listen to any of them online if they came up as they still needed to be released. The laptop also had a 200-page book that she had to get rid of remotely, which she had written for her publishers, Simon and Schuster. The book was not backed up in a cloud, and she lost that completely.
Getting all those songs and rerecording them was a challenge, but she managed it and is now ready to showcase them. In 2021, Lana released two highly acclaimed albums, "Blue Bannisters" and "Chemtrails Over The Country Club".
Lana Del Rey was born Elizabeth Woolridge Grant in New York City. She has Scottish ancestry, and her forefathers hailed from Lanarkshire. She was sent to boarding school at 14 to get rid of alcoholism. In her elementary school in Lake Placid, St. Agnes, she joined the school choir and later became the cantor.
