'Lady Chatterley's Lover' on Netflix ending explained: Whom did Connie choose between Oliver and Clifford?

Based on English author D.H. Lawrence's eponymous novel, directed by Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre, and written by David Magee in "Lady Chatterley's Lover," Connie Reid as she marries Clifford Chatterley.

The protagonist starts by painting a liberal picture of Clifford. Tragically, Clifford returns from World War I with a wound that prevents him from walking.

Oliver feels cheated for giving Connie a child when he finds out about Clifford and Connie's entire "agreement."

The real problem surfaces when Connie's sister Hilda draws attention to the difference in class between Oliver and Connie, even though Clifford remains in the dark. A rumour spreads that Connie and Oliver are having an affair. Like before, Clifford hears it and tells Oliver to leave the property permanently. Connie confronts Clifford for being a blatantly selfish husband by approaching him. She accuses him of having thought of the plan. She makes a divorce request to him, which he refuses to give.

Oliver writes to her to explain how he has established himself in Scotland. When Connie obtains that letter, he also visits Oliver's new hut and captures him. And with that, another chapter of their tale begins, hopefully, one without the constraints of society.
