Pittsburgh's Labor Day Parade is reportedly one of the largest in the United States and arguably one of the most famous. At 10 am Union workers and their supporters march from the PPG Arena to the National Steelworkers Headquarters downtown.
Labor Day marks the end of summer, but it also ushers in the fall campaign this season. With the key midterm elections looming, this year's event will bring together Democrats such as Senate candidate John Fetterman, Gubernatorial candidate Josh Shapiro, and Vice Presidential candidate Austin Davis.
They plan to join union members from all walks of life, paying particular attention to members of service workers who launched a strike against care homes in the area late last week.
