The events of the pilot episode of season 1 of "La Brea", popular American science fiction drama series on NBC, could have taken up an entire season of the show. It was the time when, in the middle of Los Angeles, a portal sinkhole appeared. Now season 2 of the series has started.
When Eve Harries, played by Natalie Zea, and her son Josh, played by Jack Martin, fall into the sinkhole, they get separated from the rest of the family and appear in circa 10,000 B.C. Los Angeles alongside a cast of characters who are also attempting to find their way back home.
Some of the twists in season 1 of "La Brea"
Numerous twists follow that. Some of which is when Josh’s father Gavin, played by Eoin Macken, discovers that the visions he used to see were actually memories of that primaeval land that plagued his career as a pilot; or the experiments being conducted on the sinkhole(s) for years by a team of shady scientists; the closing and opening of multiple portals throughout Season 1, and in the final episode, the transportation of Josh and others to 1998 Los Angeles.
