Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams running back, agrees to 3-year, $33M extension; check his recent records
Kyren Williams, the Rams' Pro Bowl running back, has secured a three-year, $33 million contract extension, including $23 million guaranteed. This deal positions him as the seventh-highest-paid running back in the NFL based on new money per season....

Weeks ahead of the extension deal, on the day the Rams reported to training camp, Williams, 24, clearly stated that he wanted to sign a contract extension with Los Angeles. He reported to training camp and said he would not hold out of practices. "I want to play for the Rams," Williams was quoted by ESPN as saying that day. "That's who I want to be with. That's who I want to stay with. I know it will work out," he added.
Kyren Williams's past performance
Williams, 24, made a huge impact in 2024, recording career highs in carries (316), rushing yards (1,299), and rushing touchdowns (14). He has rushed for 2,582 yards and totaled 31 touchdowns (26 rushing, five receiving) in 38 games since being selected by the Rams in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Last season, Williams became the third Rams player age 24 or younger to have at least 27 scrimmage touchdowns in two years. He joined Todd Gurley (40, 2017-18) and Hall of Fame member Eric Dickerson (34, 1983-84) on the short list.
