Twilight star Kristen Stewart, 35, and her longtime partner Dylan Meyer, 37, are now married. The couple exchanged vows in a low-key, intimate ceremony at their Los Angeles home on Easter Sunday. They held a ceremony days after the collection of a marriage license in LA County.

Photos from the wedding ceremony, obtained by TMZ, showed Stewart dressed in a chic grey button-up sweater top and skirt. She paired her outfit with black shoes. Meanwhile, Meyer opted for a semi-sheer white blouse and a silky ivory skirt. She completed her look with a black ribbon tied around her ponytail.

As per the reports, among the select attendees were Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson and her husband, oil heir Brandon Davis.

Kristen and Dylan – A love story years in the making

According to the TMZ report, Stewart and Meyer first met on a film set in 2013. However, their romantic relationship only blossomed years later after a chance reconnection. In 2019, the two reconnected at a birthday celebration of a mutual friend.

Reportedly, their bond deepened, and they went public on Instagram in October the same year. Meyer posted a picture of them kissing at a photobooth and captioned that, “Find me under the covers hiding from the happiness police.”

Stewart too has spoken openly about her feelings for Meyer in various interviews. According to the reports, she recalled telling Meyer that she loved her for the first time at a bar. She said it was a spontaneous but deeply honest moment. Speaking further, she said that at that moment, she just felt very much in love with Meyer.

Stewart and Meyer got engaged in 2021

According to another report in Harper's Bazaar, Stewart revealed about the couple's engagement in 2021 during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show. She further revealed that Meyer proposed to her, saying that the actor had very distinctly planned what she wanted, and her filmmaker beau nailed it.

Reportedly, Stewart had previously mentioned wanting a ‘big party’ to celebrate their wedding. However, she admitted to being ‘unceremonial’ and a poor planner. True to her word, the couple opted for a cosy and private ceremony instead.

In a 2023 interview, Stewart expressed her desire to start a family. She, according to the reports, said that there is no way she would not want kids with Meyer and added that her wife (then fiancée) is the right partner to build a future with.
