On July 14, Donald Trump said in the Oval Office that NATO and the U.S. will send top-level weapons to Ukraine. These weapons include missiles, ammunition, air defense systems, and Patriot missiles, which are already on the way to Ukraine, according to the report.

This gear will come from existing U.S. stockpiles, so it's ready fast. NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte said this move will help bring "just and lasting peace" and stop Russia’s attacks, according to the report by Newsweek.

Russia reacts with nuclear warning

On July 16, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov warned that Russia’s nuclear policy is still in effect. Russia sees an attack by Ukraine that is backed by a nuclear power like the U.S. as a joint nuclear threat, as stated by the reports.

President Zelensky said on X that Ukraine is working hard on producing more weapons at home and keeping deals with allies on track. He said all defense agreements are being checked closely, and they want to see strong results by the end of the year, as per reports.
