Kourtney Kardashian reveals she underwent ‘urgent fetal surgery’, calls Travis Barker ‘my rock’

Kourtney Kardashian Barker and Travis Barker's unborn baby is now declared safe following an “urgent fetal surgery.”


The eldest Kardashian sister, aged 44, disclosed on Wednesday that she was admitted to the hospital last week. She shared an Instagram photo, seemingly in a hospital bed, holding her husband's hand.



In her caption, she expressed her enduring gratitude to her medical team for saving their baby's life. She also thanked her husband for swiftly returning from tour to be by her side during her hospitalization and recovery. Her mother's support was acknowledged as well as her husband, Travis Barker, who is her “rock”.


Kourtney continued to share her experience, emphasizing the unexpected fear that came with the urgency of fetal surgery. She expressed newfound empathy for mothers who've faced similar challenges during pregnancy.

On Friday, Blink-182 announced via the band's official social media account, formerly known as Twitter, that "due to an urgent family matter, Travis has had to return home to the States." Consequently, three of their scheduled performances in the United Kingdom had to be rescheduled.
