Ahead of the Dodgers’ Friday night game against the Toronto Blue Jays, Bryant’s family - wife Vanessa and daughters Natalia (22), Bianka (8), and Capri (6) - attended a special night honoring the late Lakers legend. The highlight came when Bianka confidently threw the ceremonial first pitch, earning cheers from the crowd.
The tribute centered around the exclusive Bryant bobblehead, unveiled weeks earlier, featuring him in a No. 24 Lakers jersey, Nike Kobe 6 Protro Dodgers sneakers, and holding a baseball bat. Available only at Dodger Stadium, the collectible was given to the first 40,000 fans through the gates.
Meanwhile, 6-year-old Capri stole the limelight for the traditional pre-game announcement, proudly declaring to the roaring crowd, "It’s time for Dodgers baseball!" Her energetic moment, paired with sister Bianka’s impressive first pitch, added a heartwarming touch to the Dodgers’ tribute night honoring Bryant.
The unique design featured Bryant’s No. 8 on the front and No. 24 on the back, symbolising both eras of his Lakers career. Due to popular demand, the limited-edition jerseys made a return for the 2024 celebration, giving fans another chance to honor Kobe’s legacy in style.
