North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un has lately made headlines for his overly belligerent conduct in the aftermath of a series of unscheduled missile launches. However, social media users drew this week to him for another reason - Kim Jong Un's clothes.

Kim Jong wore a white tunic and a safari-style hat while witnessing military drills in North Korea last week. However, photographs of him did not appear until Monday. Social media users reacted quickly to his new look, with some comparing him to pop culture luminaries.

One Twitter user sent a GIF of Richard Attenborough wearing a white shirt and khaki hat in the 1993 film Jurassic Park. The video was accompanied by the tagline "Welcome to Jurassic Park." Another Twitter user posted a photo of Diane Keaton from the 2003 film "Something's Gotta Give," in which she was also wearing a white shirt and a white bucket hat. Placed the photo beside one of Kim's captions, "Kim Jong Un: Coastal Grandmother Icon."
