The Miami Heat, LA Clippers, and Utah Jazz finalized a multi-team trade on Monday that reshuffled several veterans. The deal sent John Collins to the Clippers, Norman Powell to the Heat, and Kevin Love along with Kyle Anderson to the Jazz.
Utah also picked up a 2027 second-round draft pick from Los Angeles. Love, 36, heads to his fourth NBA team in a career spanning 17 seasons.
Reacting to the trade, Love took to social media platform X and wrote: "Never thought I’d be a math problem. Welcome to the NBA."
A five-time All-Star and 2016 NBA champion with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Love has averaged 16.2 points and 10.0 rebounds across 952 games. Injuries and personal challenges limited him to just 23 appearances last season.
