The Indiana Fever dominated the Las Vegas Aces 81-54 on Thursday night in Indianapolis, notching their third consecutive win despite being without injured All-Star guard Caitlin Clark.

The win was especially meaningful for the Fever, as it marked their first victory over the Aces since 2019, snapping a 16-game losing streak in the matchup.

Kelsey Mitchell led the way with 25 points and six assists, while Natasha Howard recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Aliyah Boston added 20 points and seven boards in the commanding victory.

Indiana never trailed, jumping out to a 6-0 lead and building momentum throughout the first half. After a brief push from the Aces cut the Fever's lead to 8-5, Mitchell ignited a 9-2 run to stretch it to 17-7.

Las Vegas’ A'ja Wilson tried to keep her team close, scoring a personal 6-0 run and finishing the first half with 17 of her game-high 29 points. But she received little help, as no other Aces player scored more than six.

Indiana took full control in the second quarter, responding to a Las Vegas 3-pointer with an 8-0 run to go up 29-17. The Fever continued their dominance, extending the lead to 46-24 by halftime.

The Aces suffered multiple three-minute field-goal droughts and managed just seven points in the fourth quarter, finishing with a dismal 26.2% shooting from the field and 18.8% from three.

Lexie Hull and Mitchell hit back-to-back threes in the third after the Aces had briefly trimmed the lead to 13, halting their momentum for good. The Fever improved to 9-8, while the Aces dropped to 8-9 in a disappointing showing.
