Travis Kelce is one of the most recognized tight ends in the NFL right now, having won two Super Bowls and appearing as a guest star on Saturday Night Live, the ultimate pop culture endorsement. But, because of the media attention his suspected relationship with singer Taylor Swift has garnered in recent weeks, he has risen to a whole new level of celebrity. There is already merchandise inspired by the football player and pop star's budding affair.

The dynamic brothers Travis and Jason made news early in 2023 when their NFL teams faced off in February's Super Bowl, making them the first brothers in NFL history to do so.

Jason Kelce and his family, including wife Kylie Kelce, were also featured in a documentary earlier this year. They collaborated on a Christmas tune and both appeared on "Saturday Night Live," albeit hosted by Travis Kelce.

Where do the Kelce brothers come from?


Jason and Travis grew up in Ohio, despite the fact that Jason, the older brother, was born in North Carolina. Travis is 34, and Jason is 36. They were both athletes at Cleveland Heights High School; Jason played running back and linebacker for the football team, while Travis also played basketball and soccer. Travis subsequently proceeded to the University of Cincinnati on a scholarship and played for the Bearcats.

Jason was chosen by the Eagles in the 2011 NFL Draft, while Travis was chosen by the Chiefs two years later.

Their parents are steel sales representative Ed Kelce and celebrity-maker Donna Kelce, who gained notoriety for herself in the lead-up to the 2023 Super Bowl by dressing in separate outfits to show equal support for each of her sons during the season.

Jason and Travis Kelce have Super Bowl rings?


The brothers have both won Super Bowls: Jason with the Eagles in 2017 and Travis with the Chiefs in 2019 and 2023, respectively. Jason has also appeared in six Pro Bowls, while Travis has appeared in eight.

The two siblings most recently met in a game on November 20, 2023, only the ninth occasion in NFL history that a Super Bowl rematch occurred the following season.

Jason Kelce’s team was successful in the most recent game, which the Eagles won 21-17. This was the first time Jason Kelce's team defeated Travis Kelce's Chiefs.

They're not always rivals


While Travis and Jason had recently played a game against each other on November 20, 2023 they also enjoy working together: they co-host a podcast called New Heights, where they talk about football and break down major League developments as they happen—as well as Travis' burgeoning romance with Taylor Swift, which has the entire world on edge. New Heights is named after their hometown of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, where they grew up.
