'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' fake home put on sale for a hefty $8.88 million

Fake 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' home, which also featured in the series, has been put up on sale with a multi-million dollar price tag.

The faux residence, used for exterior shots in the iconic reality show has now witnessed a significant increase in asking price since its last listing. Despite the show portraying the genuine lives of the Kardashian-Jenner family, the featured home was not the actual residence.

While much of the filming occurred inside Kris Jenner's real home, the exterior shots in later seasons were staged. The exterior of the family 'home' was only a facade for security reasons, as Kris opted for faux exterior shots after individuals started trespassing by jumping the fence to get a closer look at their genuine house.


Kim Kardashian told fans that she "realised how unsafe it is to show the exterior of [their] homes", with Jenner clarifying, "When we film inside, that's obviously our real home."

The Studio City home, prominently featured in exterior shots of Kris Jenner's mansion on the reality show, is now on sale for a staggering $8,888,888 (£7,093,421), marking its second listing in just a few years, according to TMZ. The current owner, who acquired the property in 2018 for $5.25 million (£4.18 million), stands to make a substantial profit of $3 million (£2.4 million) if the mansion sells close to its asking price of almost $9 million (£7.2 million).

Situated in the prestigious Fryman estate, the property is described on Zillow as an "elegance custom home with fine detailed inspired European style," transporting residents from LA to Europe in style. Despite being listed just two days ago, the famous residence has garnered less than 1,000 views, with a current count of 977 at the time of publication.
