With the ongoing rumors of a possible relationship between former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and American singer Katy Perry, they made their first public appearance as a couple on Saturday, Oct. 25.

The duo stepped out in Paris to celebrate Perry’s 41st birthday, attending a cabaret show at the famed Crazy Horse. Photos obtained by TMZ show the pair leaving the theater hand-in-hand, both smiling. The ‘Roar’ singer stunned in a bold red dress, while Trudeau kept it effortlessly chic in an all-black look for their Parisian date night.

Perry and Trudeau first set off dating speculation over the summer after they were seen together in Montreal, Canada. Their outing came shortly after Perry’s split from her ex-fiancé, Orlando Bloom, in June. Trudeau had also recently gone through a major life change, separating from his wife, Sophie Grégoire, in 2023 after 18 years of marriage.


Following that initial sighting, the pair kept a low profile for a few months, until September, when they were photographed sharing affectionate moments aboard a yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, confirming that the spark had not faded.

Perry hasn’t slowed down one bit; she’s in the middle of her global Lifetimes Tour, celebrating her latest album, 143. After launching in Mexico City in April, the tour has already swept through major cities in the U.S., Canada, and Australia, with Perry now jet-setting across the globe to meet fans on every continent.

On her Oct. 25 birthday, the singer added her signature humor to the celebrations, sharing an Instagram Stories post showing a meme from X that compared her mother, Mary Perry, “releasing Katy Perry” to how the singer announces a new album drop.
