Kanye West is reportedly at risk of a significant financial setback following a controversial stunt he and his wife, Bianca Censori, pulled at the Grammy Awards.

A source within the entertainment industry said that West’s actions could jeopardise a $20-million deal for two concerts at the Tokyo Dome in Japan.

Japanese investors, who were backing Kanye West’s upcoming concerts, are deeply displeased with his behaviour and are now likely to withdraw their financial support, according to a report in RadarOnline.com.

A source close to the situation reportedly said that the investors in Japan, who are funding the concerts are extremely upset, and it highly likely that they will pull their funding.

Additionally, Kanye’s collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign, Carnival, lost the Best Rap Song award to Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us at the Grammys.

Bianca Censori’s controversial red carpet look

To make matters worse, Kanye and Bianca’s behaviour took place in front of a donation appeal for victims of the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. The report suggests Kanye was seeking publicity — something he certainly achieved — as the stunt was widely covered by the media.

According to reports, Kanye and Bianca Censori were escorted out of the 2025 Grammys by police officers. A viral video from the red carpet also sparked speculation that Censori appeared distressed and possibly under the influence of Kanye.

During the event, Kanye was seen apparently encouraging Bianca Censori to remove her black coat, revealing a sheer dress that left little to the imagination.
