American rapper Kanye West has been involved in controversies throughout his career. However, the one that he racked up after his anti-Jewish comments has dealt a severe blow to his career. According to media reports, Kanye has lost over $1 billion after companies canceled deals with him owing to his comments.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, the controversial artist pointed out that he had lost film contracts, sports contracts, music contracts, and mortgages. Kanye said that he was being beaten to a pulp without any accountability. He wrote in the caption that "unknown powers" were trying to destroy his life because of a tweet, which proved that his suspicion was true.
Kanye West’s Twitter account was taken down after he tweeted that he wanted to "death con 3" on Jews. However, Ye’s account was reinstated a few days ago, before Elon Musk took over the platform and fired the top brass. Almost all of Kanye’s business partners, including his management team, footwear and apparel brands, etc., ended their relationships after the controversy went global.
