NFL on Christmas day is indeed a lucky thing, and if its the Kansas City Chiefs playing, there's nothing more like it. The game against the Steelers was quite tough for the Chiefs but they managed to claim an outright victory through their gritty defense and a big pass rushing game.

NFL's Christmas Day Game action goes in Kansas City Chiefs' favor

If there was one man who stole the show for the Chiefs, it is the Chiefs defensive end Mike Danna, who took huge advantage of the extended playing time against the Steelers, and sacked Russell Wilson twice, with the total tally of the Chiefs' sacks being 5.

This in itself was the star attraction of the day, while making full use of the absence of Chris Jones as a strategy during the expanded playing time.

Chiefs' Mahomes also steals the spotlight

Meanwhile, Danna was not the only one who caught the eye during the game. Patrick Mahomes also took the limelight wherever possible, especially after he got the deep ball for which he had been advocating much of the season. Consider this as his own Christmas gift from NFL this season.

The 49-yard pass to Justin Watson in the first quarter traveled 40 yards, that set a record for being the second-longest pass of the season, according to ESPN.
