On expected lines, Vice-President Kamala Harris who is also the presumptive presidential nominee of the Democratic party has seen her popularity levels increasing. The woes of the Democratic party may have just ended with the ascent of Harris.

The decision by Joe Biden and the subsequent ascent of Harris has been well received by the electorate, according to various surveys. A week after Biden exit, Kamala Harris’ popularity levels have increased and she is all set to take on Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election in November.
Kamala Harris’ increasing popularity:
In the ABC News/Ipsos poll, Harris saw an increase of 8% in her popularity levels as compared to last week. The findings of this survey which was released on Sunday, found that 43% of the electorate favored Harris. There is also the un favorability ratings. It indicates the person is not popular among the voters or has a negative perception among them. In the same survey, Harris’ un favorability rating stands at 42% in comparison to 46% which had been recorded in the previous week before the fresh survey was conducted. She has recorded a 1% net favorability rating.

US President Joe Biden’s popularity ratings have surged by 5%. 37% of the electorate favored him in the latest survey as compared to 32% in the previous survey. His un favorability rating too has fallen to 50% as compared to 55% in the previous surveys. His decision to quit the race has resulted in a 5% improvement on this scale. The Democrats have been enthusiastic since Joe Biden quit the race and endorse Harris who is all set to receive the presidential nomination from the party.
