Vice President Kamala Harris has joined TikTok and received millions of likes in a very short period. In what may be termed a complete shift from Joe Biden's social media strategy, she received millions of views and followers on her Kamala HQ TikTok and X campaign accounts. The presumptive Democrat candidate also launched her personal TikTok account as she took the help of former NYSNC member Lance Bass, reports 'The Independent'. In the short clip shared on TikTok, the singer accompanied Harris and mocked her would-be opponent Donald Trump. Bass asked, “Hey Kamala, what are we going to say to Donald Trump in November?” The vice president replied, "Bye, bye, bye." It was the lyrics to NYSNC’s 2000 hit song of the same name.

The vice president's campaign team has posted four videos since launching the channel – @KamalaHarris. The first video lasted only for eight seconds with the cameraperson asking “Madam vice president, are you on TikTok?” She replied, "Well I heard recently that I was on the For You Page (recommended videos), so I thought I would get on her myself." The first two videos garnered nearly 2 million followers.

It consists of a slideshow of images connecting the Harris campaign to Charli XCX’s album “Brat Summer”. The second post on Kamala HQ received 6 million likes. It is set to “Femininomenon” by Chappell Roan, a popular song on TikTok.
