Plot

Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 will continue from the cliffhanger where Kafka Hibino is arrested after it is discovered he can transform into a monster. Kafka is held in a military prison, awaiting a private audience with higher-ups, including Isao Shinomiya, the Director General of the Defense Force.
