During the March 12 episode of The Town podcast, Freedman stated of his client, "This has destroyed Justin." "This is a very serious matter, and the only way you can really get your life back in this day and age is to prove your innocence,” as quoted in a report by E! News.

Freedman disagreed with host Matt Belloni's assertion that a settlement for both parties would be encouraged by the high level of public interest in the issue and "damage to both sides."

The lawyer retorted, "You keep calling it a circus, and I understand." "But when you have an experience like this, the truth is that this is not a circus," as per a report by E! News.

Why did Blake Lively request a protective order?

Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds filed for a protective order earlier this month to keep private information out of the public eye as Baldoni and Lively continue their legal battle, which includes lawsuits accusing both parties of a smear campaign.
